Nlview Java Online Demo

What you need - Security Settings

To run this demo, you need a Java enabled Browser running either the Java 1 or Java 2 runtime environment. That means: Java must be installed and enabled in your Browser. Most Browsers come with Java 1 already installed, that can be enalbed or disabled usually somewhere in the Security Settings; however Java 2, if required, must usually be installed as separate package (something like "J2SE Runtime Environment"). There are too many ways to install and/or enable the Java package, so we don't even try to give advices on how to do that.

Run the demo

Go to the NlvWEB Java1 or to the Java2 Demo Page.

Both demos use a 100% pure Java renderer Component (about 80kB) that is transmitted to and executed by the Browser. The Browser will connect a server at www.concept.de that runs the schematic generation algorithms and will serve the Browser's Java Component. The Java component itself appears as a black canvas-like area with two scroll bars, that displays the generated schematic.

While the Java2 demo uses the locally installed Swing library, the Java1 demo needs to transmit that library (about 2 MB) together with the Java Component.
